Technical Translating Writer |
Preparing the translation of highly complex technical, marketing, and business documentation from the Japanese language to English and vice versa, using specialized expertise in computers and technology; utilizing business, computer and technical terminology, language, principles, and techniques in translating brochures, website information, contracts, correspondence and other business documents and applying business knowledge to thoroughly understand the content and intent of the company's purpose; reviewing manufacturers and trade catalogs, drawings and other data relative to operation, maintenance, and service of equipment and studying blueprints, sketches, drawings, parts lists, specifications, mock ups, and product marketing samples to integrate and delineate marketing and financial strategies. The candidate for the position must have a Bachelor's in English Literature, Japanese Literature or Writing (or foreign equivalent). Written Fluency in Japanese and English Languages in also required.
